About Karen

Karen Hodge has been working in the higher education and nonprofit sectors for 35+ years.

Her experience in grant writing, capital campaigns, and annual campaigns has helped secure more than $50 million for the organizations for which she has worked.

She also works with nonprofits to strengthen their operations through strategic planning, focused communication strategies, enhanced board relations, and targeted staff development.

In addition, Karen has taught communications and writing courses at two universities and conducted countless training sessions for groups large and small on topics ranging from fundraising and nonprofit operations to personal and professional development – and much in between!

She also spends a great deal of her time coaching professionals on their career and personal development journeys, and she is committed to helping her clients achieve their goals.

Karen has a Master of Science in Technical Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Business & Organizational Communication, both from The University of Akron.
